WILKONEWS WEIRD BUT FUNNY NEWS BIT

Dog buys his own sausages
A dog owner in China says his pet is smart enough to buy himself sausages when he's hungry.

Wu Qianhe, of Chengdu city, says his pooch, Lele, barks to let him know he's feeling hungry.
"I'll drop him one yuan, and he takes the money in his mouth and runs to the neighbouring shops, which all know him well," says Qianhe.
Lele will not release the money until he's been given the sausage, reports Chengdu Evening Papers.
"He is smart enough to tell the difference between a piece of white paper and money. You can never cheat him," added Qianhe.

Spider-Man 3 gets Tokyo premiere

Spider-Man 3 will receive its world premiere in Japan on April 16.

Sony Pictures has revealed that director Sam Raimi and stars Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst will be at the event in Tokyo.
The film will hit cinemas in Japan on May 1, three days ahead of its UK and US release, reports Variety.com.
Spider-Man 3 sees Peter Parker fighting his own inner demons as well as a new villain, Sandman.

Beer launching fridge
A US inventor has come up with a fridge that throws cold cans of beer to lazy drinkers.
John Cornwell spent £1,500 creating the Beer Launching Fridge, reports the Mirror.
And his invention is attracting lots of interest since videos of it in action were posted on www.metacafe.com.
The fridge is activated by a remote control which sets off a lift mechanism in the fridge.

The lift delivers the can to an electronic catapult, which rotates until it is lined up with its thirsty target.
It then hurls the beer up to 10ft to the drinker. It can hold a full 24-can crate - 10 beers in its magazine and 14 more in reserve.
John, 22, who has just graduated from university in North Carolina, said: "The idea was conceived when I was sitting on the sofa having a few beers.
"I thought, 'What if instead of me going to get the beer, the beer came to me?'
"About three months later I have a fully automated, remote-controlled, catapulting, beer-launching mini-fridge.
"There is a slight danger of being hit in the head with a flying can but this danger decreases the more you use it."

Beer-drinking duck understands Chinese

A Chinese man says his beer-drinking pet duck can understand him.
Grandpa Cao takes six-year-old Yaya for a walk through Dalian city every day, reports Northeast News Network.
"He understands every instruction I give him, such as to tumble or to fly. But when he's tired he turns his back on me," says Cao.
He feeds Yaya on peanuts mainly, but says he also enjoys shrimp and other sea food as snacks - with a beer.
"When he eats, he needs a bowl of beer, otherwise he won't be happy," added Cao.
