HUMBLE PIE ON MENU AT RAINFOREST CAFE

First of all this comes by way of a public apology to WKD and because no one really wants a smart arse bragging about things all the time!!

While we were in Vegas we had a meal at the Rainforest Café, in the MGM Grand, America's largest hotel by the way, a well formatted chain of quality restaurants whose aim is to raise awareness of issues surrounding the Rain Forests of the world. http://www.rainforestcafe.com/

They are at various worldwide locations, in fact we went to an almost identically laid out one at Disneyland Paris, every one has a good menu and a retail village, remember when we used to call them shops?.. Anyway during the course of the lovely meal by the way, whoever thought of skewering shrimps deserves a medal, a WILKONEWS discussion developed regarding Rain Forests! VEGAS KID, RAFMAN & MAINMAN all totally disagreed with WKD over location and types of animals in the self same Rain Forests! WKD did try to make herself heard, very rare?!, by asking our 'server' who for one reason or another did agree with her but gave his answer in a one word, patronising way. So much so that we still remained to be convinced! On that subject we all agree that he should have gone and got a fact sheet but I think maybe because the restaurant was closing and the 'shop' had already closed but he could have expanded on the subject and it wouldn't have been left festering until we could Google the answer when we got home.

WKD was uncategorically correct! We often forget that WKD spent two and a half years watching daytime Discovery Channel and Animal Planet and for that WE the WILKOMEN humbly apologise!

pLEASE ACCEPT THESE GLASS FLOWERS
AND THIS COCKTAIL AS A SUITABLE APOLOGY!

However there was another issue to do with Largest Butterflies Queen Alexandra's Birdwing and Smallest Monkeys The Pygmy Marmoset brought about by VEGAS KID that has now been resolved by Google with the reverse result.

A VOLCANIC ERUPTION IN THE RAIN FOREST?!

You win some ... you lose some!

...AND A WATERFALL IN THE SAME SORT OF RAIN FOREST?!
