Well I guess everyone knows I am in Athens now and so without further ado having found an internet cafe that takes my stick if you'll pardon the expression here are some first pictures, and it being Friday it's an Athenian Take Five Friday on the photoblog ok?

Those are beautiful pictures of the ruins. The "modern" buildings I can do without....they are just another piece of the concrete jungle and lack the beauty of days gone by.
I hope to get there one day myself!
