10 Famous Guitar Intros
Day Tripper - The Beatles
Enter Sandman - Metallica
Heartbreaker - Led Zeppelin
Iron Man - Black Sabbath
Johnny B Goode - Chuck Berry
Roundabout - Yes
Smoke On The Water - Deep Purple
Sunshine Of Your Love - Cream
Sweet Child O' Mine - Guns N' Roses
You Really Got Me - The Kinks / Van Halen
They are in alphabetical order depending on title so that there shouldn't be any arguments! Or should there? I guess I did this list about the year 2000 and I'm not sure that there would necessarily be any additions since. The difference is this is my list and not some mags, so if you've got a problem with it, talk to me!!
If everybody who visits suggests one track that I haven't included because there are hundreds I could have chosen then I will print them all next week ok?
If it wasn't alphabetical by the way it would have to be Sweet Child O' Mine, the mighty G'N'R !

A newer one that definitely erupts into chaos if you've ever seen them do it live...."Alive", Pearl Jam.
Jimi...either one of two - "Purple Haze" or "All Along The Watchtower"
and, lastly (you can tell I'm enjoying this) - I always really loved "Gimme Shelter"...Stones. O.K., I'll quit hogging all the space here. Love your blog, btw.
Two not-so-famous but favorites of mine: the intro to The Jame's Gang's Funk #49 and also No Sugar Tonight by the Guess Who.
Just off the top of my fuzzy l'il head.
I think Roundabout is the very best one, though.
Deb lovely to see you over here. The list should definitely have been longer shouldn't it? But hey it would get to about a 1000 and we'd still forget something. Please come over again, enjoyed your company!!
Hi sugar smacks yeah your right certainly about the Guess Who.... leading to another by direct link Bachman Turner Overdrive, Roll on down the Highway! Thanks for the visit!
