WEEKEND UPDATE!!

WELL OF COURSE I REMINDED HER OF WHAT SHE'D SAID AND AFTER THREE PINTS OF GUINNESS I REALLY WASN'T IN THE MOOD FOR ARGUING WHICH WAY ROUND IT SHOULD BE DONE BUT KNEW THAT IT JUST HAD TO BE!

WE DID TRY IT ONE WAY AND THEN THE OTHER, THEN A WAY I HADN'T REALLY THOUGHT OF! THEN IN THE SHOWER AND ALMOST IN THE LIFT BUT WE WERE ONLY ON THE SECOND FLOOR!

FINALLY BECAUSE PRACTICE MAKES FOR A PRETTY GOOD BLOG POST WE DECIDED THAT YES THE WINNERS FLAG SHOULD GO ON TOP! THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR COMMENTS SUGGESTIONS AND IDEAS, I'VE LEARNT A LOT AND FOR THE RECORD IT WAS GREAT FUN!

Yanno...if you went to Scotland, you be in my homeland. Course my Dad, the roving Scott, didn't hang around long enough to have hand in the actual raisin' of me (which might have been smart on his part considering all the trouble I got into) but still....

Ain't particalrly pleased to see English Flag below the South African one, but winners are winners, and they did win.

Please tell me there was a live band inside that fabulous building!

Looking forward to a selection of the dozens of photographs like it that I know you must have taken. :-)

Mel, what a good question, LOL!
You girls definitely want all the nitty gritty don't you!!
All I'm saying is that it would have needed more floors or an emergency stop button that we could have confidence in restarting when we were done!!

Thanks SSD I hated the result but the winner went on top, just as she promised!!

When I took the picture Autumn there was yes! It was pretty gruesome but still had the atmosphere associated with any live music.
You've caught on to the fact that I have assignations when I start running out of pics!!

SIMON said...

Well Jules there's no where in this post that says anything about double decker buses, so either that's a very good guess or....

Flags? Yeah right! I still think you were talking about something else. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink!
Glad you had a great time.
About the meme, no probs!
If you did every one that was passed to you, you wouldn't be able to blog about anything else would you?
Hugs
