WEEKEND IS HERE............

Wow! It's been one of those weeks, or is it just me?
RAFMAN has a 'shocking' experience, DEVONISH ENTEAM becomes
THE IMPULSE KING. One is now not going away and the other.....is!
GRAMBO had a birthday - yes they are all significant at her age......
WKD goes for check ups at hozzy (that would have been better had we being going to Prague - Geddit?)

Life Begins ends!

Joe Lynch VC dies, http://wirralculture.blogspot.com
Frank Field has major brainstorm and decides to save the rainforest!
Two Wirral MP's have their constituency dinners on the same night. Good communication, don't you think?
Mainman has new love (LEONA) as X Factor starts its live run up to Christmas and WKD gets it right with the Unconventionals going out. MAINMAN, PIPPAGIRL and RAFMAN all agree it maybe should have been the MaccyD Boys. William Hill quote Leona, above and 'rocker' Ben as favourites to win. This week's theme was Motown and the special guest was Lionel Richie who wrote 3 of the 12 featured songs. Next weeks theme is Rod Stewart songs which should guarantee Ben safe passage in to the next round.
While X Factoring WKD wants it mentioned that she works with Ray's auntie! Of course it has to be said that he did appear in Brooky but you knew that anyway didn't you? Liverpool European Capital of Culture 2008 should temporarily read Liverpool Capital of X Factor finalists 2006!
Grambo meanwhile really got in to it all tonight and thought Ashleigh had a great voice. MAINMAN as predictable as ever was heard to say "Leona could sing Humpty Dumpty and I'd still vote for her" Rather spookily though RAFMAN knew that MAINMAN was lusting over her before he was told..........
So far though MAINMAN can only say those that won't win!

Googles have been on such various things as Flaybrick cemetery, Friends of the Ferries and the new Fire Safety Regulations. Weird but somehow wondrous?!
askdad.com has been buses to APH, trains from Devon and Legal and General

Saying of the week :
"We'll jump off that bridge when it's built" from well guess who?

Meanwhile 2 friends of WILKONEWS appear in the same newspaper, each being equally passionate and big headed.....!
ParkourDan
Moreton's Daniel Ilabaca is certainly going places - usually very quickly. The Parkour, or free running, superstar is already making a name for himself after appearances on Top Gear and enjoying huge popularity on You Tube. Here he negotiates a 14 foot drop over railings in his inimatable style. He is about to tour the country with the Samsung roadshow, and will appear at a training session at Park Road Sports Centre, Steble Street, Liverpool on November 5th see www.worldwidejam.tv for details.
and ParryManpictured by the love of his life, The Giant Grasshopper, Shore Road Pumping Station. His article can be read on our sister blog, http://wirralculture.blogspot.com

The answer to the Sunday Quiz Question which may or may not surprise you is....Helen Mirren who stars in the last ever Prime Suspect, part 1 later on today!
