Ok I didn't particularly like him but he was one of those people that if on you could not turn off, exceedingly knowledgeable about his subject and had about him a passion for his specialist subject - wildlife especially in Australia. Ironically he went the way he would have wanted to go but as the victim of quite a placid creature, the stingray. Nice one Steve, you have thrilled millions and I know you are up there saying "WELL I TOLD YOU A CROC WOULDN'T KILL ME"

Well Devonish Entertainer will be really upset about the news because impersonating dead people isnt as good as impersonating live people!

Steve Irwin was asked about his favourite tv program when he was akid. He said it was Thunderbirds but there'll always be a place in my heart for Stingray
