JUST PARIS THAT'S ALL

THE TRIP IN TO PARIS YESTERDAY WAS A BIT FORE SHORTENED TO BE HONEST TO DO WITH 'CAPTAIN JACK' GOING ON A STAG NIGHT, FRIDAY NIGHT. OH I COULD HAVE GONE AS AN IRISH COWBOY, THE THEME, BUT IT WAS AT AND I DON'T DO COUNTRY AND WESTERN FOR ANYBODY I FOLLOWED UP ON THE MOBILE NUMBER I HAD!! SAY NO MORE!!



NOW BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY 'JACK' IS NOT USED TO GETTING BUSES, HE ENJOYED THE EXPERIENCE SO MUCH HE STAYED ON IT WAY PAST THE HOTEL WHERE HE WAS MEETING ME!! DID YOU NOT SEE THE SIGN? IT'S BIG ENOUGH!


INCIDENTALLY THE REASON HE WAS COMING TO MEET ME WAS TO DO WITH NEXT WEEKS TRIP TO ATHENS SO MAYBE MORE ABOUT THAT LATER IN THE WEEK!





BUT WE MADE IT IN TIME TO SIT BY THE RIVER AND CHILL OUT FOR A BIT AND TOOK IN THE SITES!

SORRY I KNOW WE ARE ON THE WAY TO THE AIRPORT BUT IF I DON'T GET A PICTURE OF THE EIFFEL TOWER WHILE I'M HERE NO ONE WILL EVER BELIEVE THAT I WAS REALLY HERE AND AUTUMN STORM WILL NEVER SPEAK TO ME AGAIN!!

OK THAT'S IT FOR THE MOMENT! DISNEY AND PARIS BEHIND ME!

I TRAVEL TUESDAY TO ATHENS AND AGAIN I GUESS WE MIGHT HAVE TO PUT UP WITH LOUSY INTERNET CONNECTIONS AND SO ON BUT LAPPY NEEDS ITS AIRMILES SO OF COURSE ITS COMING WITH ME!!

Paris pictures tomorrow guys, I'm tired and E mailing this post without going to anybody's site or answering any comments, or E mails! Just to say yes the T has arrived, thank you Autumn Storm, I'll be over tomorrow to thank you at yours! 

I can't thank everybody enough for all the comments, although on my own I have never felt alone. I will get round to you all in time even though I'm away again on Tuesday first thing.

For those of you who like the technical lunacy, while I was away, because I do and because I can I took very nearly 1900 pictures!! That is after the deletions! I told you it was lunacy!!

But how many do you think I took of my son Matt as Captain Jack Sparrow?

Just a clue here I did delete nearly 100 because they didn't show some of his face!!

I will of course be attempting to post while on my next trip which in case you've just been looking at the pictures is to ATHENS!!! WOOOOOOO!! Can't wait and there's a number of reasons for that but the main one is that I haven't been before and I am soooo looking forward to it!!! 

 

 

MORE DISNEY!

Saturday morning.
Well that's it really, certainly for Disney for the moment! Paris itself today and back to the UK this evening. Loads to do Sunday and Monday and first thing Tuesday off again, this time to somewhere I've not been before! Woo! Europe's most forgotten capital , Athens!!
But that's next week, this is now.
I want to thank everybody who has commented while I've been away it makes it so worthwhile taking your lap top with you and fighting networks for good internet connections and all the horrors of travelling and trying to communicate at the same time!
Ok Mickeys ears arguably one of the most globally recognised icons in the world, even the bubbles used in the parade are shaped that way!!
So some pics that sum up what Disney is all about!

Friday in the park for me was the highlight of the week. By now everybody knows against all Disney rules, I have to say, that my son Matt works there, they know some of the characters he plays and he has been pictured as such.

Once he knew I was coming over he changed his duties around so that he could play Captain Jack Sparrow. Now I know we've posted about this before and you've even seen pictures of him as Captain Jack but as a proud dad and photographer I have never seen him play him or taken any pictures myself of him!

I took an almost obscene ammount of pictures of him 4 of which are included here, the other was taken by Ross, ACC for the day (chaperone really - it means something in French!) who at the start of the day was going round looking for "Keith" The reference was of course to Keith Richards who appeared as Captain Jack's father in the Pirates of the Caribbean film!

WELL MATT I REALLY DON'T KNOW HOW I'M GOING TO CONVINCE YOUR GRANDMA THAT IT'S JUST A JOB!

NOT ONLY DOES HE STEAL SPOTTY PUPS HE GETS A SPOTTY FACE WEARING ALL THAT MAKE UP TOO!

MEANWHILE LATER IN THE PARK, CHILLING OUT, HAVING A SMOKE AND A COKE, NOISE BEHIND ME AND I'M ATTACKED YES ATTACKED BY TWO CHIPMUNKS! EACH HAVE THEIR ARMS AROUND ME AND ARE WRESTLING ME TO THE GROUND!

TIC AND TAC ARE NOT FACE CHARACTERS THAT MEANS UNDER PAIN OF NEAR DEATH THEY MUST NOT SPEAK SO YOU CAN IMAGINE HOW FUNNY IT SOUNDED WHEN A MUFFLED ENGLISH FEMALE VOICE WHISPERED LOUDLY, "SHIT, YOU ARE MATT'S DAD AREN'T YOU?" I GUESS I SHOULD HAVE SAID NO!!

Well what do you think about a hotel that advertises that all the rooms have wifi internet connections, so you spend an age buying time with Orange and by an age waiting 20 minutes for the next page when you are trying to pay them money! Internet connection so slow that you just give up.

Go to the reception in the morning and you say the internt connection is very slow. "Oh you want a wifi connection it doesn't say that on the reservation." Because it didn't ask! "I can let you have a wifi room if you want, but it won't be ready until later on, it's only wifi at the back of the building!"

Ok so you all know I'm in Paris this week at Disney, because I love Disney and my son works there! Before last nights arseyness internet wise I thought I was being really clever I took pics of signs and stuff showing where I was but they really are quite boring pics and frankly I don't do boring.

So you will have to wait and see them another time when I can't be bothered working on a post!

It's Disney and it's my son Matt and all magical things that is Disney!! Basically I watched him at work, he loves it that's because he's very rarely himself!!

More like a advert for Top Gun! Tom Cruise ish? The guy reflected taking the picture I mean!! Not a good pic but it just gets me that a) My camera was in his face and b) Matt's working his ____ off behind him as a stilt walking, jumping vulture and he couldn't give a damn!!

Finally I get to see my son after a long hard day (for him) at the office!!

There are other Disney pics on the photoblog, as you can imagine! Word of warning if you don't like Disney best to avoid this and the photoblog until the weekend!!

Hope to be back tomorrow but you never can tell I might have to change rooms again!!

Anyway I've never filled my 2gb card with pics before so where else can I put them!!
